SAVE Britain's Heritage is looking for a highly organised and motivated Events Manager to join our team. This is an opportunity to help us build on our successful in-person and online events and deliver an exciting programme of talks, walking tours and special visits.

The aim of this job, through our events programme, is to develop and increase SAVE’s public profile, reach new audiences, and promote awareness and understanding of our work as well as generating additional income for the charity. See our current and previous events here.

This is an exciting time to be joining SAVE on the back of recent high profile campaign successes and as we look forward to our 50th anniversary celebrations in 2025. Working with the director and other members of the team, a key role of the new Events Manager will be planning and delivering an exciting programme of events to celebrate this milestone in our history.

Location and hours of work: Our offices are based in Farringdon but occasional travel in England, Wales and Scotland may be necessary. The appointee will work 21 hours a week (3 days) between 9.30-5.30pm with an unpaid hour long lunch break. Time-off in lieu is given for attendance at events outside these hours. An element of flexible WFH considered. A fair degree of flexibility will be required, especially when campaigns are in full swing.

Salary: The salary will be circa £32,000 pro-rata

Reports to: Director

Duration: A fixed term contact of three years is offered, beginning as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal

Annual leave: 25 days plus office closure for three days between Christmas and New Year (pro rata 17 days for 3 days a week)

Probation: The probation period for this role is 3 months.
