Baytree Cottage, Sandy Lane

Baytree Cottage, Sandy Lane, Wiltshire sold at auction last Thursday (11 June). Its guide price was £90,000, it reached almost double that. We hope that the cottage will now be sensitively restored and made into a delightful family home.

This Grade II listed stone built and thatched cottage dates from the late 18th century. It was originally 3 cottages but survives happily as a single dwelling in a rural location half way between Chippenham and the Salisbury Plains.

Interested purchasers should note that various restrictions apply and when inquiring for further information from the agents parties should ask for the legal pack. The listing and age of the dwelling must also be respected and if you have any further queries regarding what restrictions are in place due to the listing we recommend contacting the conservation officer at the local authority (Wiltshire Council).
