SOLD at Auction

Rheda1
SOLD at Auction

STOP PRESS! The property was sold at auction on 18 February 2010.

Although in structurally good condition, the interiors of the Grade II listed former Rheda stables survive in a state of semi-dereliction. To some this would be a daunting prospect, to the more adventurous it is a unique opportunity to acquire a well constructed range of buildings yearning for inventive adaptation. Imagination is required, and a sympathetic eye for restoration - the potential is clear to see.

A previous application for conversion was accepted some years ago but has since lapsed. Although a new application would need to be approved, the local community and planning authorities seem keen to see this interesting set of buildings developed in a considerate manner.

The Dower House and Rheda Stables are to be offered at public auction very soon, with a reduced guide price of £120-140,000 (was £350,000).

Interested parties should contact the local conservation officer, as well as the owners, to discuss the implications of the Grade II listing, the scope for restoration and to register their interest.
