Thursday 26th June, 6.00pm - 7.30pm
Council Chamber, Felixstowe Town Hall, Suffolk IP11 2AG
Trimley Station is a charming disused building on the Ipswich-Felixstowe branch line. It is a valued part of Suffolk’s railway heritage, but it is in a critical condition and in urgent need of a new use.
This characterful Victorian building could once again become a thriving part of its community - perhaps as a local hub, meeting space or café.
Join a packed line up of speakers to take part in an exciting discussion, chaired by Suffolk Coastal MP Jenny Riddell-Carpenter, about the future of Trimley Station. This is your chance to share ideas about how you would like to see the station brought back to life, and an opportunity to join a working group to take the project forward.
Speakers include: The East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership, The Railway Heritage Trust, East Suffolk Council, Greater Anglia, SAVE Britain’s Heritage.
All are welcome!
