SAVE Walking Tour of Newcastle
Join SAVE Britain's Heritage on a walking tour of central Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Michael Short will lead a walk, starting and ending at Dobson’s Central Station. The walk will take in a wide variety of old and new architecture, explore the multiple layers of development in the city and reflect upon the challenges of new development in this context.
Michael Short is an academic and practitioner at the Bartlett School of Planning at University College London.
Start point: Newcastle Train Station, NE1 5DB, at the east exit of the main entrance portico
