About SAVE Britain’s Heritage

SAVE is national, independent charity that exists to defend historic buildings and places from demolition. We stand out from other organisations in our field by working with architects, engineers and investors to come up with alternative schemes to avoid needless losses. Where necessary, and with legal advice, we fight cases at public inquiries, judicial reviews or seek other legal routes.

We are a small, friendly and lively organisation working out of shared offices in Clerkenwell, London. We have 6 members of staff comprising the Director, Executive President, Editorial and Communications Manager, Conservation Officer, Buildings at Risk Officer and Office Administrator all working full or part time. The office is supported by a Trustee Board, volunteers and a network of advisers.
